At 10pm, the girls were together again! So precious to see! Crazy too because Kaia looked sooo much bigger than Corryn!
I quickly decided to keep the girls in the same crib! It was funny because Kaia was screaming and I couldn't really calm her so I picked up Corryn and laid her next to Kaia and there was complete silence! It was so cool to see!Sunday, July 27, 2014
First visit with S
I couldn't wait to have S see these precious little ones she had grown for us! I could tell she was exhausted but we snuck over to her room before she went to sleep! We only had Corryn at this point. I think it was about an hour or so later Kaia joined us!
Alyssa was so happy to meet Corryn as well!
Kaitlyn and Conner both love Alyssa!
So blessed!
Welcoming committee
They are in LOVE!
Joy
They are here! So very hard to believe! We have waited so long for these miracles and we feel beyond blessed! God chose us to have these little ones and he fore saw this whole journey! I can see His hand at every turn! We do serve and awesome God!
I pray we make him proud as parents!
Corryn weighed in at 5lb 15 oz just shy of 6 pounds! She didn't really need any observation but protocol kept her in the NICU. She came out to us at 8pm.
We eventually named this little chunk.........Kaia! both with the middle name of Rose after their sis who is in heaven!
Spending time in the NICU with the babies and we already got in trouble..........high up people were coming around with a snack cart and we took from it! Tim was eating an apple while talking to the doc and was instructed NO food in NICU. It was all quite humorous. We always find trouble where ever we go!
The kids were so excited to come into NICU and see the babies! They are beyond excited to finally have you here!
The hard part was knowing that S was in so much pain. I had gone to see her as soon as she got out of the OR as they were recovering her in her room. She didn't talk to me......I thought she might be mad at me that she had to have a c section. It turns out they did knock her out during the operation so she was just out of it when i first saw her! Thank God because I was so worried!
Pushing miracles
S only had to push a few times and this precious little one came out! She was perfect! She came out floppy and not really crying. I wasn't too worried since i see this all the time at work but I know your daddy started to get really worried when they called for the NICU team to come in. She (baby A as she will be called for over 24 hrs because we can't decide on a name) was so white! Look at her here smiling and everything!
Baby A is our BIG baby at 7 lb 9 oz!! That is great for a term baby but for a twin pregnancy at 37 weeks that is awesome!Miss S had to push to get the placenta out! Then it was time to keep pushing to see baby B! As S was pushing I could hear B's heart rate plummet! Boom ......................boom........................................boom!
It was really slow and Dr. Strong tried everything he cold to get her out but finally called an emergency c section! The room was already crazy full due to all the support staff needed for a twin delivery but once he called it the place erupted with chaos! Rob, Tim and I were kinda shoved in a corner and they began working on her. Then the next thing you know is that we were ushered out of the room. I could hear S screaming that she could feel the incision. It was so hard for me to hear and so hard to have someone else going through the pain that you so desperately would take in a heartbeat!
In the hall, we could hear baby B screaming as she came out of S! She too was perfect in everyway! Look at those lips! Tim then went with baby A to NICU to be observed and I followed with Baby B. They stayed in NICU for observation and were release later that night. A was born at 3:56 pm and B was born 16 mins later at 4:12pm . S and R did an amazing job!Thursday, July 24, 2014

The babies look great on the monitor. Contractions are just picking up.
BP is a little border line but it was fairly good through the entire induction!
S, R, Tim and I basically hung out and carried on the entire day! The boys competed at Candy Crush (haha). The laughs didn't stop. S was probably sick of us all by the end of the day! :0)
Making sure Baby A's head was still down. Baby B was still breech!
Babies are still looking really good! Contractions are every 2-3 minutes just where we want them!
S did amazing! Here she is at 8 cm and probably 10 minutes later she was fully!

Vet and Sheila were our nurses! They were awesome. The banter went on all day with them! Little did they know they would be beyond busy in a few minutes from now!
